The successful Sociology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to understand society from a range of perspectives. You will introduce students to key sociological theories concepts and research methods while helping them develop the ability to apply these ideas to contemporary issues.

The role will primarily involve teaching A-Level Sociology so strong subject knowledge and an ability to prepare students for demanding examinations are essential. You will help students develop their analytical writing evaluation skills and ability to construct well-supported arguments.

Lessons should provide a balance between subject knowledge discussion independent research and examination preparation. You will monitor progress closely and provide students with clear constructive feedback to help them improve.
