Sociology Teacher Sixth Form Provision
Nottinghamshire KS4 & KS5 MPS/UPS
A secondary school with sixth-form provision in Nottinghamshire is seeking an experienced Sociology Teacher to join their Social Sciences department. The successful candidate will teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5 supporting students through their GCSE and A-Level studies.

The Role
Teaching Sociology across KS4 and KS5
Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Contributing to departmental planning and sixth-form activities
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Sociology Teacher will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong Sociology subject knowledge
Have experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5
Be confident preparing students for examinations
Have strong classroom management and communication skills
