The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across Key Stages 4 and 5 and assist senior leaders teaching staff and wider social sciences teams. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records updating school tracking systems managing departmental correspondence supporting attendance administration and assisting with the organisation of demographic research assignments focus groups and academic social science panels.
You will also support communication with parents students and external agencies while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential as the role requires the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities within a busy school environment.
The school is looking for someone who is proactive reliable and able to lead balanced data-supported discussions both independently and as part of a collaborative social sciences staff team. Good IT skills and familiarity with qualitative analytical data tracking are important alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.
