Liquid Personnel is recruiting aChildrensSocial Worker to join its clients Childrens Safeguarding team based in Wolverhampton.

What will your responsibilities be
- Carrying out comprehensive child-focused assessments under Child Protection and Child in Need frameworks.
- Formulating and implementing robust safeguarding plans to ensure children are safe and supported within their families or care settings.
- Initiating and managing care proceedings including writing high-quality court reports and giving evidence when required.
- Collaborating closely with multi-agency partners (schools health professionals police) to deliver holistic wrapped-around support.

Qualifications and Experience:
We need practitioners who are resilient empathetic and sharp when it comes to risk assessment.
- Qualifications:A recognized degree in Social Work (BA Social Work England registered).
- Experience:Post-qualified experience within a statutory Childrens Safeguarding or Child Protection team.
- Skills:Strong analytical skills for risk assessment excellent courtroom/report writing capabilities and a knack for building trust with families in crisis.
- Compliance: Full clean driving license with access to a vehicle for community visits and an enhanced DBS check.
