Job Summary

Domestic Considerations: Flexible working available 2 days per week with short-duration UK travel required to OpGps.
Domestic Considerations: This is a FTRS (HC) post office based in Upavon with limited infrequent visits so could be done by MLD/MFD. Limited ability to work from home (1-2 days per week).
Position Role: Responsible to SO1 Trg Ops for the planning and in year management of Officer inflow from recruitment and A Res OR into Basic Training (BT) in conjunction with the Recruit Allocation Plan (RAP) and desk level coordination of training initiatives and improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan manage and deliver the Recruit Allocation Plan (RAP) for Offrs and Res OR translating recruiting demand into training inflow on behalf of Land Forces Command through close engagement with Strategic Workforce Plans Recruiting Group RMAS and the Soldier Academy.
2. Act as the lead SO2 staff officer for the production development and coordination of the Officer and Army Reserve OR Basic Training pipeline ensuring training capacity is sufficient coherent and used to best effect.
3. Serve as the AITC desk lead for Basic Training inflow coordinating the handover of candidates from AFR to RMAS and the Soldier Academy and resolving issues affecting timely course loading.
4. Identify develop and implement improvements to Officer and Army Reserve training inflow processes increasing effectiveness efficiency and assurance across the recruiting-to-training pathway.
5. Act as the AITC point of contact for issues changes and requests for information affecting the delivery of Basic Training maintaining staff-level liaison with RMAS the Soldier Academy and wider Army Reserve stakeholders.
6. Lead the development and maintenance of Army Reserve performance management information using agreed metrics to monitor inflow training capacity course loading throughput and emerging risks.
7. Provide subject-matter advice on Army Reserve training matters supporting policy interpretation stakeholder engagement and the resolution of cross-command training issues.
8. Be prepared to represent AITC Training Operations internally and externally in the absence of SO1 Trg Ops including briefing senior stakeholders and coordinating urgent staff action as required.
