Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Develop roles responsibilities work-strands and employment training requirements within the new 1 Aviation Brigade HQ construct in consultation with CoC. Including Job Spec updates as required.


1. Assure the Medical elements of all 1 Avn Bde activity including Operations overseas Training Exercises and UK based collective & individual training.

2. Advise the Brigade (Bde) Comd and Bde G3/G4/G5 on medical and health considerations on Operations and Bde Exercises. Lead on the implementation of medical policy for the Bde.

3. Advise generate and assure Med Ops/Plans for the Brigade in line with Army Command Standing Order (ACSO) 3215. Provide Med planning guidance to all Bde Operational Staff Work. Support G3/4 staff for Operational Commitments Trg & overseas Ex.

4. Working with 1 Avn Bdes Consultant in Aviation Medicine - Attack advise Bde units on medical and health policy. Spt/advise Comd/DCOS on Bde Health Committee & Deployability meetings in line with AGAI 57 using EPINATO ASER and other medical information feeds as required.

5. Provide Healthcare Assurance advice as well as conduct Advisory visits and Assurance inspections in line with the Army Healthcare Assurance Framework. Identify and mitigate risk at all levels

6. Liaise with Med across Joint Aviation Command Allied Rapid Reaction Corps Defence Primary Healthcare Land Operations Cell RAF Tactical Medical Wing Special Forces and other healthcare providers. MS: Be prepared to provide Med HofA inserts.

7. Apply critical thinking & analytical problem solving to deliver training plans and embracing the future operating environment.

8. Facilitate good working relationships through understanding people and effective social skills to support collaboration. Empathy with Tri-Service and Civil Servant work force required.
