Job Summary
A vacancy has arisen for a Sqn Ldr and Aircrew (Pilot)to serve as SO2 Control of the Air at HWY on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 08 September 2026.
To generate the components of airpower and develop Air capabilities to achieve precise campaign effects across the spectrum of operations whenever and wherever they are require.
a. To assist in the organisation and delivery of a CotA Capability Planning Group (CPG).
b. Draft programme artefacts including CONOPs and URDs.
c. Interface with the key stakeholders (military industrial procurement and S&T) ensuring capability gaps are identified articulated and planned against to meet or mitigate Defence requirements.
d. In conjunction with technical SMEs including DSTL and Air SciAds provide operational input to the development of plausible future equipment and non-equipment concepts.
