SO1 Policy Operations, Army Personnel Centre (21919)

Position Role: SO1 Pol Ops is employed within the APC Optimisation Branch which comprises c.80 SME Civil Servant and Mil staff delivering outputs through People Policy Process Digital and Data. Role is focussed on identification development and implementation of initiatives to optimise Career Management policy and process. The post is Routine but does assume responsibility for the management and delivery of significant and complex change programmes
within the APC.

Responsibilities:

the development of sS and Defence Pers Policies which have CM implications through working groups papers and direct engagement.
develop and implement changes to CM policy and process to improve the experience of CM professionals and Service Personnel.
the delivery of CM policy initiatives with complementary optimisation pillars of People Process Digital and Data.
staff officer for high profile quick turnaround CM Policy issues and initiatives.
and interpret the direction of senior leadership.
creative solutions by applying innovative thought process.
good working relationships through understanding people and effective social skills to support collaboration.
