Job Summary
School Meals Supervisory Assistants
1 hour 15 minutes per day (12.30 pm to 13.45 pm - Monday to Friday)
Term Time Only and attendance at some INSET Days will be mandatory
12.85 per hour - (Annual Salary 24796 Actual Salary 3598)
We are seeking to appoint School Meals Supervisory Assistants to support with supervising students during the midday break so as to ensure the safety and general welfare and proper conduct of the students during this period.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervision of students immediately before during and after the midday meal. This includes students who have a school meal as well as students who bring their own food.
- Supervision of students entry into the dining room.
- Assist as required in clearing tables wiping them down sweeping floors.
- Assist in the setting up and removing of furniture in parts of the school in the dining room where necessary.
- Taking such steps as are necessary when students are sick carrying out minor first aid and summoning any assistance needed to deal with injuries or illness.
- To supervise students in the playground or other areas of the school as required by the Headteacher
