Kinfauns is keen to welcome an experienced Small Animal Vet to our dedicated team.

We are an RCVS-accredited small animal first-opinion practice with a team of 7 vets working across two well-equipped sites. Renowned for delivering exceptional clinical care alongside a genuinely family-friendly service we pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues.

This role is primarily based at our main site in Little Clacton with occasional sole charge shifts at our Dovercourt branch.

Our main site in Little Clacton is home to a large highly skilled team including 16 nurses (14 RVNs and 2 ACAs) supported by a dedicated reception team experienced Practice Manager Deputy Practice Manager and Senior Vet. Recently refurbished the practice features two theatres and a modern dental x-ray suite providing an excellent environment to deliver high-quality care.

Our second branch in Dovercourt just 20 minutes away offers a more community-focused setting with ultrasound facilities and close ties to local clients. Youll mainly work from Little Clacton with occasional sole charge shifts at Dovercourt giving you variety within a single role while maintaining the support of the wider Kinfauns team.

The Role:

• Full-time ideally 4 days per week (with a rotating day off although we can be flexible)
• Primarily based at Little Clacton
• Occasional sole charge shifts at Dovercourt
• 9am to 7pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am to 1pm)
• 20-minute consults
• One hour lunch break (very important to us!) and we prioritise ensuring everyone in the practice has protected downtime during the day

• An experienced vet who is comfortable with a full consult and surgical workload
• Confident working independently including occasional sole charge at Dovercourt
• A team player who enjoys working closely with a collaborative experienced team
