At Routeco our Operations & Logistics teams play a vital role in delivering the high-quality products and services our customers rely on. As a Skilled Wireperson your work will help ensure assemblies and control panels are built accurately safely and efficiently to meet customer specifications and agreed timescales.

What youll be doing

• Build low-voltage assemblies and first-off control panels to customer specifications electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Complete builds within agreed timescales while maintaining high standards of quality accuracy and safety.
• Maintain job packs and associated paperwork produce labels and provide build feedback to the Engineering team.
• Work collaboratively across departments to improve manufacturing efficiency and support apprentices development.
• Take ownership of additional departmental or project tasks and your ongoing personal development.
  
  

What do you need to bring toRouteco

• Required: Previous practical wiring experience with broad knowledge of wiring fitting and sub-assembly best practice.
• Required: Ability to read and work accurately from electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Required: A methodical precise approach with the persistence to complete work to a high standard in a structured environment.
• Required: GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Desirable: An Electrical Craft Apprenticeship and the ability to provide practical solutions to engineering problems.
