Coinford are looking for experienced Groundworkers External Finishers and Groundwork Gangs to join our team on a major residential project in North West London.
Coinford are looking for experienced Groundworkers External Finishers and Groundwork Gangs to join our team on a major residential project in North West London.
We have long-term work available 10 hours paid per day competitive rates and a steady pipeline of work for the right people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Setting up and using trench boxes drag boxes manhole boxes and pipe lasers
- Laying concrete clay and plastic pipes (all sizes) to correct bed surround and levels
- Ensuring pipes are tested and laid correctly throughout
- Managing groundwater and setting up the correct pump for the task
- Ensuring correct backfilling of trenches
- Benching of all manholes
- Kerbing and edging installation
- Paving works including slabs and block paving
- Drainage installation testing and maintenance
- Service installations including utilities and ducting
- External works including kerbs edgings slabs and block paving
- Working safely around live services using correct service avoidance techniques
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections
- CSCS Groundworker Card or similar qualification
- Confined Space Ticket
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- CAT & Genny Training
- Experience in kerbing paving drainage and service installations
- Reliable punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper*
- CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
- Abrasive Wheels Training
- Face Fit Certification
- Harness Awareness Certification
- 510 years of skilled groundworks experience
- Experienced working gangs / teams highly sought after
* Please note: to comply with client requirements we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement please still get in touch we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
