Site Manager

Job Title: Tier 1 Site Manager Relocation Project (York University)

We are seeking an experienced Tier 1 Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major relocation project at York University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site operations ensuring the relocation is completed safely efficiently and with minimal disruption to university activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations throughout the relocation project.
• Coordinate subcontractors logistics and stakeholder activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
• Monitor project progress quality and programme resolving issues as they arise.
• Liaise with the client university representatives and project team to maintain effective communication.
• Maintain accurate site records and report on project performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tier 1 Site Manager on large-scale construction or relocation projects.
• Valid SMSTS CSCS (Black or Manager Card) and First Aid at Work certification.
• Strong leadership organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working in live operational environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver projects safely on time and to a high standard.
