Job Summary

A well-regarded secondary school in Richmond is looking to appoint a Site Manager to join the team from September 2026.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced premises professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring a school site operates safely and efficiently. Youll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the school working closely with the senior leadership team to provide a first-class environment for pupils and staff.

The Role

As Site Manager youll take overall responsibility for the upkeep security and maintenance of the school site.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the premises

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs

  • Overseeing health and safety compliance across the site

  • Managing contractors and planned maintenance works

  • Opening and securing the school buildings

  • Supervising the premises and cleaning teams

  • Monitoring site security and responding to maintenance requests

  • Supporting school events and lettings as required

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Site Manager Premises Manager Facilities Manager Estates Supervisor or Senior Caretaker.

Youll be organised proactive and confident managing a busy school site with a good understanding of health and safety regulations and experience coordinating contractors and maintenance schedules.
