A welcoming Faith Primary School in Haringey is seeking an experienced and dependable Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running security and maintenance of the school premises. Current Haringey school site roles emphasise building maintenance site security contractor liaison and health and safety compliance.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is practical organised and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for pupils staff and visitors.
Manage the daily operation and security of the school site
Open and close the premises safely
Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Complete health and safety checks and maintain relevant records
Liaise with contractors and external suppliers
Monitor heating lighting and other building systems
Oversee the condition of buildings grounds and facilities
Support room setups and school events
Respond appropriately to emergencies and site issues
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous site premises facilities or caretaking experience
Strong practical and DIY skills
Good knowledge of health and safety procedures
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Reliable and proactive approach
Good communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Previous experience working within a school or educational setting would be advantageous.
