An established school in Chippenham is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance security and operation of the school premises.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can confidently manage a varied workload while ensuring the school remains safe and operational.

• Manage the daily operation of the school site.

• Carry out regular inspections of buildings and grounds.

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.

• Manage contractors and monitor completed works.

• Monitor security access and alarm systems.

• Support fire safety and emergency procedures.

• Maintain records relating to inspections and maintenance.

• Oversee general site cleanliness and presentation.

• Prepare facilities for school events and activities.

• Identify and report significant repairs or hazards.

• Previous experience in site management facilities caretaking or estates.

• Strong practical skills.

• Good understanding of health and safety.

• Excellent organisational abilities.

• Ability to manage contractors.

• Ability to prioritise urgent tasks.

• Professional and approachable manner.
