A well-established school in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operation security maintenance and presentation of its premises.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong practical knowledge organisation and the ability to manage contractors and maintenance priorities effectively.

• Manage the daily operation and security of the school site.

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.

• Carry out regular inspections of buildings grounds and facilities.

• Supervise contractors and monitor the quality of completed works.

• Maintain appropriate records for inspections and compliance checks.

• Support fire safety emergency planning security and health and safety procedures.

• Oversee grounds maintenance cleaning waste and general site presentation.

• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance or security issues.

• Manage keys access arrangements and site security procedures.

• Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding site requirements.

• Previous site management premises facilities or caretaking experience.

• Strong practical maintenance knowledge.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage contractors and external service providers.

• Reliable proactive and able to work independently.

• Relevant trade or maintenance qualifications are desirable.
