Contract: 8 Weeks
Project: 5000 sq ft CAT B Interior Fit-Out
Day Rate: Up to 340 per day depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday approximately 7.30/8.00am 4.00pm

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an 8-week CAT B interior fit-out project in Poole.

This is a hands-on position managing the day-to-day running of a 5000 sq ft commercial interior project. We are particularly interested in Site Managers who have come from a carpentry or joinery background and are comfortable getting involved practically when required.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the smooth and safe delivery of the project coordinating trades and ensuring work is completed to programme and the required quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Day-to-day management of the site and subcontract trades.
• Coordinating labour materials and the programme of works.
• Monitoring workmanship progress and Health & Safety.
• Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Managing site documentation including RAMS and relevant records.
• Ensuring compliance with site regulations and safe working practices.
• Liaising with contractors suppliers and project management.
• Resolving day-to-day issues to keep the project progressing.
• Providing practical hands-on assistance to trades where required.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous Site Management experience within CAT B commercial interior fit-out.
• A strong understanding of interior fit-out trades and sequencing.
• Ideally a carpentry/joinery background.
• A practical hands-on approach and willingness to assist on site when necessary.
• Good knowledge of RAMS Health & Safety regulations and general site administration.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to manage subcontractors and keep a fast-moving project on programme.
• SMSTS.
• Valid CSCS Card.
