Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Architect or Architectural Technician to join a high-profile retrofit project of an Embassy in Central London. This 69 month fixed-term contract will see you coordinating design and delivery on a complex live site. Its a key role within a fast-paced environment ideal for someone confident operating on site and working independently.


Candidates with immediate availability are preferred.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as the on-site technical lead coordinating architectural design information
  • Manage communication between the client team consultants and contractors
  • Review and oversee technical drawings ensuring quality and compliance
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve design issues in real time
  • Lead coordination meetings and ensure information flow across the project team
  • Ensure the retrofit design is delivered to programme budget and specification
  • Provide technical guidance and support across all stages of construction


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Architectural Technician
  • 5-6 years experience post qualification
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Strong background in retrofit or complex refurbishment projects
  • Confident working on-site and liaising with contractors and consultants
  • Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Proactive solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Experience working in a client-side or lead consultant role is advantageous
