As a Site Agent youll be integral to our operational team contributing to every phase from tendering and design to construction commissioning and handover across our Bess projects in the North East.

As a Site Agent you will:

• Collaborate with design planning and commercial teams to improve delivery identify opportunities and manage risk.
• Manage site activities to ensure work is delivered safely on programme within budget and to the clients quality standards.
• Support site procurement subcontractor logistics and health and safety reporting.
• Keep the client informed of progress and resolve any concerns.
• Act as Temporary Works Coordinator overseeing installation and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Manage site resources in collaboration with the Contracts Manager and Resource Manager to ensure efficient scheme delivery.

What youll need:

• CSCS card and SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• An HNC or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
• A sound understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of construction contract forms including NEC and FIDIC
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide
