Shop Supervisor – Westlands #1163
Job Summary
As a Shop Supervisor you will support the Community Shop Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the Westlands charity shop. You will play a key role in maximising sales maintaining excellent standards of customer service and supporting a team of dedicated volunteers. This role requires a hands-on approach strong organisational skills and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for customers donors and volunteers.
Youll be responsible for ensuring stock is processed efficiently displayed attractively and sold effectively to help generate vital income. You will also support the supervision training and motivation of volunteers ensuring the shop operates safely efficiently and in line with all organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the charity shop.
- Maximise sales through effective stock management and merchandising.
- Process donations Gift Aid sales returns and cash handling using the EPOS system.
- Deliver excellent customer service to customers donors and volunteers.
- Support train and motivate volunteers.
- Maintain high standards of shop presentation housekeeping and compliance.
- Help achieve income targets and support the Community Shop Manager as required.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual who is passionate about retail and making a difference within the local community.
You will have:
- Previous retail experience ideally with some supervisory responsibility.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to support and motivate volunteers.
- Confidence using till systems and handling cash.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A flexible proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards and following procedures.

Salary:15905.70 Actual Salary(26509.50 FTE)
Hours:24 hours a week worked flexibly through Monday - Saturday
