Every purchase in our charity shops helps Naomi and Jacks provide expert care and support to children young adults and families across the South of England.

Were looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Shop Manager to lead our Basingstoke store. If youre passionate about retail enjoy leading people and love delivering great customer experiences this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What youll be doing


What youll be doing

As Shop Manager youll have the opportunity to make a real impact by:
  • Leading the day-to-day operation of our busy charity shop
  • Inspiring supporting and developing a team of staff and volunteers
  • Creating an attractive and welcoming shopping environment
  • Maximising sales and profit through excellent merchandising and stock management
  • Building relationships within the local community
  • Managing shop administration financial controls and banking procedures
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service health and safety and compliance
Youll have the autonomy to make decisions drive performance and help grow the shops contribution to Naomi and Jacks vital work.

What were looking for
  • An experienced retailer with supervisory or management experience
  • A confident leader who enjoys motivating and developing others
  • Passionate about delivering first-class customer service
  • Organised proactive and commercially aware
  • Comfortable managing stock sales and shop operations
  • A great communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic about supporting the work of Naomi and Jacks
Experience within charity retail would be preferable but not essential.

We are looking for someone to work full time 5 days over 6 (35 hours per week). This role will include some Saturday working.

Hourly rate of pay: 14.05 per hour

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
