Shift Team Leader

Responsibilities: Manages a team of production employees and activities in assigned area to assure timely production in accordance with company policies and regulations Develops and implements manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocates labor and capital resources to maximize productivity Plans and manages production line maintenance and downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules Ensures the effective use of materials equipment and employees in producing quality products Evaluates and manages employees in assigned area; manages the labor pool and labor expenses within assigned areas Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies procedures and programs Prepares documentation reports and standard operating procedures as required Provides support and prioritization for process improvements Ensures budgets schedules and performance requirements are metQualifications:Bachelor degree or equivalent in related field or equivalent vocational or technical education 5 or more years manufacturing experience 03 years managerial experience in a pharmaceutical biotechnology or biological industry Knowledge and experience in formulation filling automated inspection or packaging technologies is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required. Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and/or educational requirements.
