Shift Manager Days

Wetherby DOE Permanent 6am-6pm

We are recruiting for an experienced Shift Manager to join an established food manufacturing business in Wetherby taking ownership of a permanent day shift.

Hours: 6am-6pm

Fixed Panama pattern:

Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will lead up to 6 Line Leaders and 25 Operatives taking responsibility for people production safety quality and overall shift performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the shift team

• Deliver production plans safely and efficiently

• Maintain food safety quality and GMP standards

• Manage labour resources and training requirements

• Monitor operational and production KPIs

• Investigate issues and support root cause analysis

• Drive improvements across processes equipment and training

• Ensure products meet customer and technical requirements

What were looking for:

• Shift Manager Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership experience

• Food manufacturing experience preferred

• Strong people management and communication skills

• Confident decision-making and problem-solving ability

• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience

• RCA and hazard analysis knowledge

• IOSH or equivalent

• HACCP Food Safety and Allergen Awareness
