Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our Safety Health Environment & Quality team.

In this role you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety health environmental and quality culture across site warehouse and distribution operations with a key focus on fresh food/food industry compliance UK/EU regulatory standards and ISO management frameworks ( 45001).

What Youll Do

In this role you will:

• Conduct daily site audits risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) reviews across warehouse dock and yard areas while performing root-cause investigations and implementing CAPA plans for all incidents.

• Collaborate with operational teams the site SHEQ Committee external regulatory inspectors and client audit teams to deliver safety inductions contractor clearances and regular toolbox talks.

• Ensure compliance with food industry safety standards UK/EU regulations HSE requirements RIDDOR reporting COSHH storage chemical spill readiness energy reduction initiatives and ISO management frameworks.

What Youll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• Commercial experience in a dedicated SHEQ role within a high-volume logistics fulfillment or distribution warehouse environment with practical experience in the food/fresh food industry.

• Strong knowledge of MHE operations racking systems manual handling regulations COSHH assessments and ISO 9001/14001/45001 internal auditing.

• Proven ability in behavioral safety leadership conflict resolution cross-functional communication and continuous improvement.

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent IOSH Managing Safely certification).
