Location: Altrincham

Salary: 40-45k per annum

The Role

Ready to take the next step in your service charge career

This is an opportunity to join a growing property finance function as a Service Charge Senior managing your own portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties.

You will take ownership of service charge accounts from start to finish provide excellent client support and play a key role in mentoring junior team members.

What you will be doing
Preparing and reviewing year-end service charge accounts (residential and commercial)
Reconciling income and expenditure including accruals and prepayments
Acting as the main point of contact for clients and property managers
Working with external stakeholders to resolve complex queries and ensure compliance
Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
Assisting with statutory accounts and audit queries when required
Keeping up to date with service charge best practice and RICS guidelines

What we are looking for

Experience in service charge accounting (residential commercial or mixed)
AAT qualified or QBE (ACCA or ACA part-qualified is a bonus)
Strong understanding of service charge legislation and leaseholder requirements
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
High attention to detail and strong time management across multiple deadlines
Confident using Excel
Familiarity with property management systems such as Qube MRI or Yardi (helpful)

Office based (Altrincham)
