Were looking for an experienced and passionate Service Lead to join us on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave (approximately 12 months) on a full-time basis (39 hours per week).

As Service Lead youll play a key role in leading our Community Support services in West Dunbartonshire.

Working as part of a supportive management team youll provide strong leadership coaching and direction to your team ensuring the people we support receive consistently high-quality person-centred support.

Reporting to our Associate Director youll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and develop a dedicated team of Lead Practitioners and Support Practitioners
  • Drive continuous improvement across the service
  • Promote a culture of high-quality person-centred support
  • Ensure the people we support are empowered to achieve their goals develop their independence and live the life they choose
  • Work collaboratively with other Service Leads and Lead Practitioners within the branch to share learning and best practice
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues families professionals and the wider community
  • Take on Registered Manager responsibilities providing an opportunity to further develop your leadership experience

  • Confidence using IT and maintaining accurate records

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle


As Service Lead youll help your team to deliver excellent outcomes while ensuring the service continues to improve grow and evolve.

Qualifications

Ideally youll already hold SCQF Level 9 and a PDA in Management but we wont let that stop us from hearing from the right person.

Working pattern

This is an off-rota leadership role with working hours typically Monday to Friday.

As youll be leading a busy service there may be occasions when youll need to work evenings or weekends in response to service needs. Youll also participate in rotational on-call duties.
