As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP) at our Haywards Heath Hospital youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience including HCPC registration. You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. Youre a focused flexible and motivated team worker.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP) you will:
Prioritise patient safety taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
Promote a safe working environment for patients visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures)
Support governance activity ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Healths Quality governance framework and national standards e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation fundamentals of care professional standards and evidence-based guidelines.
Provide and lead care management and delivery treating patients families friends and representatives with kindness dignity respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care treatment or condition.
Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
Take charge of a theatre co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.

Opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath the Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres 1 is laminar flow comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic physiotherapy department and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward.
