At MBC we continue to grow and we are now looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with experience in IT projects data migration and technology transformation to join a strategic project for a leading client in the banking sector in London.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with a strong technical background and proven experience in data migration IT transformation system integration or other complex technology projects preferably within the banking sector.

We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills a hands-on approach and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather analyse and document business and functional requirements.

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand project needs and define requirements.

• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams ensuring clear communication and alignment.

• Analyse existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Translate business needs into clear structured requirements and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the different phases of the project.

• Support project coordination follow up on deliverables and help resolve issues or dependencies.

• Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• Identify potential risks and contribute to the successful delivery of project objectives.

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a Technical Business Analyst or IT Business Analyst with a senior level of responsibility and autonomy.

• Proven experience working on data migration IT transformation system integration or complex technology projects.

• Strong technical understanding and the ability to confidently engage in technical discussions with IT teams developers and architects.

• Experience gathering analysing and documenting technical and functional requirements.

• Good understanding of system architectures data flows technical dependencies and integration processes.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent English both written and spoken.

• Availability to work on-site in London 5 days per week.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector.

• Knowledge of SQL databases ETL processes or data mapping.

• Experience with legacy system modernisation or platform migration projects.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirements management tools.

• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.

• Client-oriented approach.
