We have an exciting opportunity for aSeniorSupport Workerto join ourAccommodation Based Servicesteam providing housing and support to Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Care Experienced young people inWiltshire. This is a full-time positionworking 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend working to meet the needs of the service.

Applications from everyone are welcome including those with lived experience care experience or refugees with Leave to Remain.

  • You will assist the Managers with the oversight of homes leading on support and safety.
  • You will be a role model and leader to the wider team continually pushing for the highest standards for our residents the service and the Charity.
  • Your support will be trauma-informed. You will understand peoples backgrounds and champion diversity and inclusion.
  • There is so much variety. You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home safety planning to reduce harm helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to support with independent living skills and obtain refugee status.


To be successful in this role youll need to be patient kind resilient professional with a calm and caring approach. Due to the locations of our properties you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.

^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (55p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. Youll need awell-maintained vehicle with valid tax MOT andInsurance covering business use.
