Our Broadway home supports four adults in a detached property in Partington South Manchester. The people who live there have only recently moved in so this is an important and exciting time for them and for the team around them. We want people to feel at home to be understood and to be supported in the things that matter most to them in ways that give them real choice and control in their lives.
As a Senior Support Worker you will lead the team on shift and show others what good support looks like. You will build strong relationships with the people who live at Broadway and with your colleagues helping to create a home where people feel safe understood and well supported each day.
You will get to know the people who live in the home what is important to them and how they like to be supported. Supporting people well through bigger challenges and achievements helping them live the life they want in a way that feels right for them.
What were looking for
- Level 2 Adult Care Worker Qualification or equivalent is desirable
- Previous experience in a care role in a senior/team leader/supervisory capacity.
- Be committed to continuous improvement of the home and the team.
- A passion for person-centred care.
- Have a positive and proactive mindset.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
