Job Summary

Starrycare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to provide high-quality person-centred care and support across our client sites. The successful candidate will lead by example support the day-to-day delivery of care and assist in supervising support staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in line with their care plans.
Support service users with personal care daily living activities and promoting independence.
Lead mentor and support Support Workers during shifts.
Monitor and update care records reporting any concerns or changes in service users needs.
Administer or assist with medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
Promote safeguarding dignity choice and person-centred care.
Liaise with families healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with health & safety infection control and organisational policies.
Participate in training supervision and continuous professional development.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.

Previous experience working as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar care role.

Good understanding of safeguarding medication administration and person-centred care.

Strong leadership communication and organisational skills.

Right to work in the UK.

Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
