Senior Support Worker Childrens Residential Care
Location: Derbyshire Area
Salary: Up to 37360 per year (including sleep-ins) performance bonuses
Shift Pattern: 1 day on 2 days off (sleep-ins required)
Were looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our family-run childrens homes in Derbyshire. Youll lead shifts support a small team and help provide therapeutic care for children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support Residential Support Workers
- Build positive relationships with young people
- Support daily routines activities and appointments
- Safeguard children and maintain accurate records
- Support care planning and manage challenging behaviour using therapeutic approaches
Requirements
- Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years experience in childrens residential care
- Experience supporting children with ASC mental health or emotional and behavioural needs
- Full UK driving licence
