Senior Specialist PhysicalAI & Models, WWSO Startups

This position is part of the WWSO Startup team in EMEA where you will support the latest generation of FrontierAI Startups going-deep with customers to understand their AI Model usage (both custom and Open Weight) support training and large inference workloads drive patterns with AWS in the Physical AI space and support the generation of World Models.

Key job responsibilities
- Interact at the CxO/VP level as well as with developers and technical architects to ease adoption develop pipeline secure lighthouse customers drive top-line revenue and explore partnerships for the most strategic GenAI and PhysicalAI startups at AWS
- Collaborate with AWS AI/ML Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems including reference architectures patterns automation and release plan
- Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams as well as technology and consulting partner channels
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for GenAI collaborating with teams in the field including Sales Partners Marketing and other Specialists
- Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand

A day in the life
Youll be part of the WWSO Startup team where you will be a Technical Business Developer that helps start-ups adopt AWS technologies with a focus on PhysicalAI and GenAI among others. You will 1/ Be the best storytellers and technologists 2/ Work with the most promising start-ups 3/ Scale tech knowledge via products programs and the AWS Field and 4/ Gather critical startup feedback to inform our product roadmaps.

About the team
The WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization) helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies sitting in the sweet-spot between product teams account sales teams and customer success roles. We are technology specialists who work backwards from our customers most complex business-critical problems to dive-deep and guide customers through technical expertise joint with building and executing go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include technical solutions architecture roles and technical business development roles.

The WWSO Startup team is a segment of WWSO dedicated to going deep with startups in their domain or technology. We work with AWS Service Teams to ensure services and features continue to match the accelerating speed of startup development. We also support the wider Startup ecosystem partnering with VCs to best support a startups journey on AWS.

- Bachelors degree
- Experience in Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting
- Experience in machine learning data mining information retrieval statistics or natural language processing or experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs Neuron TPU or other AI acceleration hardware
- Experience working with customer GenAI model providers or experience within a Frontier GenAI startup/company
- Hands-on understanding of open source software deep learning and other ML algorithms with hands-on experience running pilots and POCs to demonstrate capabilities to prospects.
- Familiarity with agentic coding tools open-source software and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

- MBA
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences
- Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product BD or Sales Executive capacity.
- Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
- Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
