Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Senior Site Engineers for construction opportunities across the Midlands.
The role is suited to experienced engineers capable of taking greater technical responsibility while supporting and mentoring junior engineering staff.
- Lead setting-out and engineering activities.
- Establish and maintain site controls.
- Review drawings and technical information.
- Coordinate engineering requirements with site management.
- Monitor technical quality and compliance.
- Resolve engineering issues.
- Liaise with subcontractors and consultants.
- Maintain engineering records.
- Support programme delivery.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Civil Engineering qualification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Extensive site engineering experience.
- Proven setting-out experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong technical understanding of construction delivery.
- Temporary Works knowledge.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Required Skills:
Right to work in the UK. Proven site management experience. Valid CSCS Manager Card. Valid SMSTS qualification. First Aid at Work qualification. Full UK driving licence. Strong understanding of construction site operations. Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of site delivery. Desirable Temporary Works Supervisor qualification. Asbestos Awareness. Fire Marshal qualification. Temporary Works knowledge.
