Role Purpose:TheSeniorService Manageris responsible forthe day-to-day operational management and performance of designated services ensuring delivery is safe effective person-centredand aligned with organisational values policiesand strategic priorities. The roleisresponsible forthe operational leadership and performance of services across a defined geographic area overseeing multiple locations or teams and ensures consistent quality complianceand outcomes across the area while responding to local need and variation.

Reporting to the Head of Service the Senior Service Manager provides leadership to Service Managers and senior staff supporting performance management workforce development and service improvement. The rolemaintainsoversight of risk safeguardingand resource use across the area and provides operational assurance and strategic insight.

The Service Manager plays a key role in translating strategy into practice and supporting continuous service improvement.
