Salary: Up to 42000.00 per year (depending on level of training qualification and experience)

The Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for aSenior Registered Nurseto join our friendly and motivated team of staff working on the hospital Wards.

This is afull timerole at 37.5 hours a week across flexible shift patterns.

Duties of this role include:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for complex patients

  • Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions escalating where necessary.

  • Administer medication safely and monitor patient response ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.

  • Delegate tasks appropriately ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.

  • Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention safeguarding medicines management and risk reporting procedures.

  • Act as a key contact for patients and their families offering clinical updates reassurance and information to support shared decision-making.

  • Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.

  • 5 years post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.

  • Proven ability to lead mentor and support a nursing team.

  • Strong clinical decision-making problem-solving and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.

  • Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role desirable

  • SLP trained is preffered.

  • Experience in a junior management role (Band 6 equivalent) essential.
