Job Summary
Are seeking a highly passionate Senior Practitioner to lead our toddler room in our Brockley branch.
Role Essentials:
To assist the manager in managing the provision of the nursery ensuring that children parents and the staff team work together effectively to provide high quality care and education.
To assume overall responsibility for raising the quality of early years provision including physical emotional social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting
To promote excellent practice at all times
To lead practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
To support and mentor other practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote outstanding outcomes for children.
To act up as Third in Charge in the absence of both the Deputy and Nursery Manager.
Personal Specification of Candidates:
Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early years and Education or above.
Excellent communication organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 3 years occupational experience in a nursery setting and a minimum 1 years experience in a leadership role.
An ambitious dedication to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
A hands on and can do attitude.
Full time role 40hrs per week.
