The practice is open to both full time and part time candidates. As a Senior Practice Accountant youll enjoy a varied role across accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT managing client relationships and working closely with the directors to support the running and continued growth of the business.
As a Senior Practice Accountant your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year end accounts for a range of clients.
- Preparing tax computations and returns.
- Supporting clients with bookkeeping and VAT requirements.
- Managing client relationships answering queries and providing practical advice.
- Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
- Supporting the directors with the day to day running and growth of the practice.
- Supporting junior members staff and reviewing their work as necessary.
To be considered for this Senior Practice Accountant opportunity youll have:
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
- A strong background in accounts preparation and tax.
- A good understanding of bookkeeping and VAT.
- Confidence managing client relationships and taking ownership of your workload.
- A friendly collaborative approach and an interest in contributing to a growing practice.

Required Skills:
Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10 years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of QuickBooks Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
