The role

As a Senior Planner youll play a pivotal role in delivering critical defence and nuclear infrastructure projects that support the UKs national security.

Day-to-day youll be required to:

• Developing implementing and maintaining project structures including Work Breakdown Structures Organisational Breakdown Structures Resource Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures
• Developing baselining and maintaining integrated project schedules across multiple project levels
• Ensuring alignment between scheduling systems and project financial and material demand toolsets
• Providing schedule analysis status updates performance metrics and critical path reporting to support project decision-making
• Producing resource and cost-loaded schedules that support integrated business planning and project performance management

This role is based in Glasgow working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. Hybrid working patterns are available.

Essential experience of the Senior Planner:

• Experience in project planning within an engineering nuclear defence construction or major infrastructure environment is beneficial
• Using advanced scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to develop and maintain integrated schedules
• Managing project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle from bid phase through to project close-out
• Applying quantitative risk analysis and schedule performance assessment techniques

Qualifications for the Senior Planner:

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Engineering Project Management Construction Management or a related discipline
