Salary: Up to 44000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. This role would suit a senior Physiotherapist with an interest in an inpatient caseload. Experience with post-operative orthopaedic management and an ideally able to develop pathways to improve patient care. The caseload is mixed with spinal general and gynaecological surgical patients.

Duties of this role include:

  • Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.

  • Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery function and independence.

  • Manage a designated caseload efficiently prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.

  • Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists therapy assistants and students offering guidance and informal supervision.

  • Maintain accurate timely and professional clinical records in line with HCPC CSP and local policy.

  • Participate in audits service evaluations and quality improvement projects.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.

  • Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication organisational and interpersonal abilities.

  • Commitment to team working and service improvement.
