Senior Paid Media Analyst

Hybrid Working 3 Days in the Office 2 Days from Home

Placr Recruitment are looking for an experienced Senior Paid Media Analyst to join a growing and innovative digital marketing agency based in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Paid Media professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding results across a diverse portfolio of eCommerce and lead generation clients.

This role offers genuine career progression with the opportunity to move into either a people management or account management position in the future whilst helping shape the strategic direction of the Paid Media department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create manage and optimise Paid Media campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Conduct keyword audience and competitor research to support campaign strategy.
  • Collaborate with Organic Data Creative and Technical teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies.
  • Manage campaign budgets pacing and bidding strategies to achieve KPIs including CPA ROAS lead quality and revenue growth.
  • Continuously optimise targeting audience segmentation ad copy landing pages and account structures.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily identifying trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
  • Analyse performance data using Google Analytics 4 Google Ads and Looker Studio.
  • Work alongside Data teams to ensure accurate tracking attribution and reporting.
  • Conduct A/B testing across creative assets landing pages audiences and bidding strategies.
  • Support conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives.
  • Produce detailed performance reports and present insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Assist with audits for existing and prospective clients.
  • Support forecasting budget planning and seasonal campaign strategies.
  • Review and optimise product feeds within Google Merchant Center.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends platform developments and AI-driven marketing tools.
  • Contribute to team development knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience managing Search Shopping Performance Max and Remarketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of attribution models conversion tracking and enhanced conversions.
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager Consent Mode and tracking solutions.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with budget management bid strategies and ROI optimisation.
  • Proficiency in Looker Studio and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience writing high-performing ad copy.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong client relationship management experience.
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of wider business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of CRO principles and customer journey optimisation.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven campaign management and automation tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Desirable
  • Experience with Paid Social platforms including Meta LinkedIn or TikTok.
  • Experience with Programmatic Advertising.
  • Experience managing eCommerce campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Google Merchant Center and product feeds.
  • Experience in forecasting media planning and budget management.
