Senior Night Shift Manager

Location: West London

Salary: Up to 50000 (Dependent on Experience)

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week (5 over 7 nights)

An established and growing food manufacturing business in West London is seeking a resilient people-focused Senior Night Shift Manager to take full operational control of their night-time warehouse and dispatch functions.

This is a critical leadership role within a fast-paced environment ensuring that all products are accurately prepared segregated under strict temperature controls and loaded safely for next-day delivery.

The Role

As Senior Night Shift Manager you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and lead a dedicated team of warehouse operatives and drivers. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Taking full ownership of the night shift operation overseeing goods-in picking accuracy and driver loading functions.
• Motivating coaching and developing your team including conducting performance reviews and managing probation periods.
• Maintaining strict compliance with BRC controls food safety measures and temperature-controlled product standards.
• Leading stock investigations and cycle counts keeping stock levels accurate and tracking KPIs to report back to senior operations.
• Working closely with Purchasing Customer Service and Transport teams to resolve daily operational issues smoothly.

Your Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience ideally with a strong background in food manufacturing chilled environments or food distribution.
• A solid understanding of BRC controls food safety compliance and health & safety procedures.
• Tech-savvy and proficient with warehouse management systems (experience with SAP is highly desirable).
• A proactive leader who empowers their team isnt afraid to make confident decisions under pressure and is happy to support operatives on the floor when needed.
