Senior Geotechnical Engineer

 What Youll Be Doing

Youll play a key role in delivering innovative geotechnical solutions on large-scale UK and international projects. Responsibilities include:

• Managing multidisciplinary assignments with technical commercial and financial oversight
• Producing and overseeing technical delivery of detailed design design checks and advanced analysis including FEM (e.g. PLAXIS Z-soil)
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their Chartership journey
• Supporting business development by contributing to proposals and developing client relationships
• Driving excellence and consistency across our technical outputs
• Working closely with other disciplines in a collaborative cross-functional environment

Qualifications :

 What Were Looking For

Were looking for someone who brings technical experience and ideally youll have:

• A degree in civil engineering plus a postgraduate qualification in geotechnics or engineering geology
• Chartered status
• Experience on major infrastructure transportation or energy projects both in the UK and internationally
• Strong experience in geotechnical and engineering geological processes and design with expertise in interpreting complex data advanced numerical modelling and practical design; delivery to construction
• Strong hands-on design capability in areas such as deep foundations earthworks retaining structures soil and rock slope stability and seismic analysis
• Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g. 2D and 3D PLAXIS WALLAP SlopeW LPile gINT)
• A collaborative approach with a focus on successful delivery for our clients and a desire to support others growth
