• Manage and quality-assure a portfolio of fire risk assessment projects across a range of sectors

• Line-manage and mentor Fire Risk Assessors providing technical support coaching and workload oversight

• Deliver complex fire risk assessments yourself including higher-risk and technical premises

• Review and sign off FRA reports and action plans ensuring they are clear prioritised and commercially sensible

• Contribute to fire engineering work (fire strategies technical reports design input) with support from senior engineers

• Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor at senior or principal level with team leadership or mentoring experience

• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation guidance and standards across a range of occupancies

• Level 4 fire risk assessment qualification IFSM or IFE membership and Tier 2 register entry (minimum)

• Excellent communication skills; confident engaging with clients contractors and senior stakeholders

• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites

• Work alongside fire engineers on selected projects

• Fully funded progression towards a Level 5 Diploma and/or Fire Engineering degree

• Gradually take on greater involvement in fire engineering design and strategy as your competence grows
