- Hours: 35 hours per week Permanent
- Location: Swansea Hybrid
- Driving license and access to a vehicle.

About the role
As ourSenior Finance Officer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial processing and reporting across the organisation. Reporting to the Accountant you will:
- Overseeing the entry of financial transactions
- Leading and supporting a team of three Finance Assistants
- Contributing to monthly management accounts and preparing financial reports
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring prompt transaction processing
- Providing monthly payroll cover
- Preparing VAT and statutory returns
- Delivering Excelbased analysis and financial modelling
- Improving processes and enhancing service delivery
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
This role is ideal for a motivatedSenior Finance Officerwho enjoys taking ownership and delivering highquality financial work.
About You
Youll be a peoplecentred organised and proactive individual with:
- Experience in financial transaction processing and reporting
- Strong leadership and teammanagement skills
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence with financial modelling
- Payroll experience including HMRC submissions
- AAT Level 4 or partqualified accountant status
- A commitment to equality inclusion and continuous improvement
We welcome previous experience working as:
Finance Officer Assistant Accountant Payroll Officer Accounts Supervisor Management Accounts Assistant Team Leader in Finance or any other role with relevant transferable skills.
