Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a(Senior) Field Technical Engineerwithin ourElectrophysiology(EP) team you will be responsible for providing expert support and advise on the use of the Abbott EP portfolio within South West UK.
The ideal candidates location would beExeter/Dorset areadue to business this role you will be a member of the Region Central EP team and you would mainly support clinically the EP business inthe area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expertclinical consultation teaching and support on the use of all EP products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
- Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area including competitor devices as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
- Providingtechnical supportto the EP salesforce.
- Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.
What youll need:
- Individuals will ideally have a BSc in a science related degree.
- Significant experience with electrophysiology products either within a clinical setting or in an equivalent role within industry.
- Experience in3D Mapping systemwould be considered as a plus.
- Strongcardiac anatomy and physiologyknowledge.
- A willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
