Family Solicitor

Location: Manchester

Salary: 55000 to 75000 (dependent on experience)

Experience: 5 years PQE

Our client is a well-established North West law firm with a people-first culture and a clear focus on high-quality client service. Theyre looking for a confident solutions-focused solicitor who can run their own caseload build trusted client relationships and contribute to the wider team through collaboration and business development.

Youll handle a broad range of private family matters in a supportive collegiate environment. The work is varied and client-facing and youll be trusted to manage files independently while working closely with experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of private family matters including divorce and separation financial remedy children matters and cohabitation and relationship disputes
  • Providing clear pragmatic advice and representation with a strong focus on client care
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring an excellent client experience throughout
  • Supporting the continued growth of the department through networking and business development activity
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider family team and the firm

What Were Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5 years PQE in Family Law
  • Strong technical knowledge across private family matters
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm empathetic approach with clients
  • Proactive solutions-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player who takes pride in delivering outstanding service
  • Business development experience or a genuine interest in building professional networks

Working Arrangements
