Senior Engagement Officer
Job Summary
About The Role
The NHS Employers National Engagement Service is looking for a senior engagement officer to enable and assist the engagement manager to develop design and deliver network activities. As a senior engagement officer you will:

Use a range of engagement and communication tools to forward plan deliver and support participation in meetings/events that enable stakeholders to progress key priorities.

Have oversight of all team activities to provide prompts and outline drafts in relation to planning delivery follow up actions and note-taking comms resources briefings attendance and evaluation.

Summarise information and identify trends in a timely manner and work with the engagement manager and Assistant Director to identify insights and themes for potential product and policy development.

Ensure that effective and timely communications are delivered to stakeholders and signposting to relevant resources.
About You
You will have an understanding of the key workforce issues facing NHS trusts and interested in enabling the NHS to support their workforce by being the best employers they can be. We would like to hear from you if you are looking to build on your existing knowledge and skills including:

Experience of using a variety of communication and engagement tools to develop and support engaging communications and events.

Experience of using organisation and project management skills to proactively coordinate a range of meeting secretariat and logistical tasks with tight deadlines. Managing conflicting priorities to ensure follow up actions are communicated and deadlines are met.

Experience of stakeholder engagement session facilitation and delivering presentations.

Experience of producing written briefings reports and webpage content.

Experience of evaluating activity.

A high level of proficiency working with a range of digital programmes to support engagement and evaluation activities.
