We are seeking a Senior Employment Law Counsel to support our Europe employment law function and partner closely with HR and business leaders across multiple European jurisdictions.

This is a senior role for an experienced employment lawyer who enjoys operating at pace managing complex employee relations matters and providing pragmatic commercially focused advice in a regulated environment.

What youll do

• Advise HR and managers across Europe on a broad range of day-to-day employment law issues including grievances disciplinaries performance management redundancies restructurings employee exits and TUPErelated matters
• Provide employment law support on projects organisational change and transformation initiatives across Europe
• Coordinate external legal advice where needed and translate this into clear actionable guidance for HR and the business
• Support the development and ongoing review of employment contract templates HR policies and risk mitigation approaches
• Build trusted relationships with HR teams and senior stakeholders acting as a practical business partner

What were looking for

• Qualified lawyer with 8 years experience in employment law
• Strong inhouse experience (highly preferred) ideally within the financial services sector or another regulated sector
• Experience advising across multiple European jurisdictions
• Comfortable managing highvolume complex matters with minimal supervision
• Commercial pragmatic and confident working with stakeholders at all levels
